Where It Began

CBS Constructors, based in McCook, Nebraska, entered the spectator seating business in 1966, when our company founder designed and built a 4000-seat grandstand at the county fairgrounds in our hometown.

This original grandstand was built of site-cast concrete components utilizing a modular system developed by CBS and still available today. We have built projects utilizing this pre-cast concrete system in Nebraska, Kansas, Texas and Wyoming and still consider it to be our “Cadillac”.

Over 40 Years of Experience

Since this beginning 40 plus years ago, CBS Constructors has added permanent steel grandstands of truss-leg and horizontal beam and column design, angle frame bleachers and other products such as our hydraulic-operated, truly portable “Traveler” series, picnic tables, team benches, platforms, ADA ramps, and other specialty seating.

We have built projects as far away as New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Missouri, Idaho, Montana, Wisconsin, North & South Dakota, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, Minnesota and Oklahoma. We continue to build our business throughout the United States.
